I need a Cosmo

Last week, after a long day's work me and my friends met up for a few cocktails at South Kensington. I am a big fan of Lebanese cuisine and our destination was Comptoir Libanais. I had my first summer cocktail - no need to ask, it has always been a good Cosmopolitan that makes me happy - and I cannot wait to  have some more next week as I am flying out for my much anticipated holiday break.

This green pepper caused some trouble...
Cheers...!!!

A very SATC situation here...

We had lots of delicious food (and desserts), cocktails, chat and laughter. Summer nights should always be like that!

Have a great Sunday and good luck to the Greek football team playing tonight :)

Liberty x H&M

There are some exciting news for this coming September as iconic London department Liberty is collaborating with high street giants H&M on a collection of men's shirts and accessories. For the fans of the store's iconic florals I believe this collection will be simply awesome! Just an opportunity to dress your man picture perfect!

Have a great weekend and remember this: Fashion is not something that exists in dresses only... it has to do with ideas, the way we live.

Stella McCartney at Harrods

It would be a lie to say that I do not live and breath fashion on a daily basis :) What can I say, may that be my Achilles heel!

A few days ago, I visited the Stella McCartney boutique at Harrods for a sneak peek at the latest arrivals. Plus do not forget that the Harrods Sale starts this weekend, so we better all have a bit more than a sneak peek!

Falabella my love...

Have a lovely evening!!

The Last Days of Troy

Last week, on yet another beautiful and warm day I reached the Shakespeare's Globe on foot (yeah, I walk a lot around London) to see "The Last Days of Troy". Model and actress, Lily Cole takes on Helen of Troy in this new piece of writing by award-winning poet and novelist Simon Armitage which dramatises the end of the Trojan siege.

I really enjoyed the very powerful performance from Jake Fairbrother (and beautiful body) as the charismatic Achilles and Simon Harrison as brave Hector. Richard Bremmer is such a humorous Zeus that made the crowd laugh constantly.

It was my first time at the Globe to see a play and I found it such an exquisite venue. The fact that the theatre is open and it is by the river, makes the whole experience of seeing a play so unique. This replica of the Shakespeare's 16th century theatre, reconstructed just 200 yards from its original site, is the brainchild of American actor and director Sam Wanamaker. Built in wood and thatch, using techniques from 400 years ago opened in 1996.

Have a great Sunday!

Welcome to Bankside

A few days ago when the temperature was really rising in London town, I put on a pair of shorts and I was ready for a long walk by the Bankside, hoping to get a bit of tan as well ;)

For a bit of history, Bankside is located on the southern bank of the River Thames, (2.4 km) east of Charring Cross, running from a little west of Blackfriars Bridge to just a short distance before London Bridge. The name is recorded in 1554 as the Banke syde and means "street along the bank of the Thames". I guess everyone who lives in London has visited the area and it is such a nice escape on a warn, sunny day.

Double Shot

Good morning to all! I am sitting in front of my window noticing the weather changing faces like a Pygmalion and I cannot wait for the next World Cup match this afternoon. I am enjoying a cup of coffee as this is a constant in my life (Dear caffeine, I do not know what I would do if you were not in my life...).

While I am out in town and more specifically in WC postcode surroundings my favourite go to place for a magnificent cup of coffee is the Double Shot Coffee Company in Covent Garden. Opened in December 2009, this coffee spot offers not only great quality coffee (and so much more..) but a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere.

I love going to truly independent coffee shops to enjoy myself and I get the feeling that you receive hospitality and service on another level. That is exactly what the Double Shot accomplishes and I would highly recommend to check it out next time you are in the West End to catch a musical or an event at the Royal Opera House.

Double Shot Coffee Company: 38A Tavistock Street, WC2E 7PB
A good book is always tagged along with me :)

Have a great day!!
